Legend of 13 Grand Slam Titles

Here for more about Serena Williams

Serena Williams is primarily a baseline player. Her game is built around taking immediate control of rallies with a powerful and consistent serve (considered by some to be the best in the women’s game), return of serve, and forceful groundstrokes from both her forehand and backhand swings. Williams’ forehand is considered to be among the most powerful shots in the women’s game as is her double-handed backhand. Williams strikes her backhand groundstroke using an open stance, and uses the same open stance for her forehand.

Clijsters is recognized for her deep, powerful, well-placed groundstrokes. She can hit outright winners off both wings and from any part of the court. Her forehand is one of the best and most powerful the women’s game has ever seen, yet occasionally erratic and prone to unforced errors; her backhand is more reliable and consistent, and can be hit with heavy slice as a defensive shot. Clijsters is also recognised for her all-court defence, characterized by speed and athleticism.

Siberian Siren Holds 3 Grand Slam Titles

Here for more about Maria Sharapova

Maria Sharapova is an aggressive baseliner, with power, depth, and angles on her forehand and backhand. Additionally, she is one of the few players on the WTA who uses the reverse forehand a lot. Instead of using a traditional volley or overhead smash, she often prefers to hit a powerful “swinging” volley when approaching the net or attacking lobs. Sharapova is thought to have good speed around the court, especially considering her height.

Beauty Serbian has The Only French Open Title

Here for more about Ana Ivanović

Ana Ivanović is an offensive baseliner who is notable for her aggressive play. In 2007 and 2008, Ivanović was regarded as one of the best competitors on the women’s tour. After winning the 2008 French Open and becoming #1, Ivanović endured a decline in form. Many critics attributed this to lack of confidence. She has since made some improvements to her playing style after appointing a new coach in 2010. As a result, she started to play with more confidence and won matches more consistently. Recently, however, an inexplicable loss of form and increased injury has sent Ivanovic back to the drawing board.

Here for more about Vera Zvonareva

Vera Zvonareva is a player with good offensive & defensive capabilities from the baseline and also confident at the net, this shown in her good doubles record. She is known for her great fitness, speed and instinct, owing to her excellent lateral movement, and can therefore outrun many opponents during rallies & making her one of the best movers on tour. Her groundstrokes are powerful and are usually hit very flat, with minimal topspin, though she herself admits that she can adjust her style of play to the court conditions when needed
